With Bailey close to turning three I thought it would be an appropriate time to transition her into a regular twin sized bed from her toddler bed. Her room is her playroom so our only problem was how much space the bed would take up. We didn't want to spend alot of money on an acutal bed. Bobby came up with a great idea for storage under her bed which in turn would get rid of the bookcases and actually create MORE room in her bedroom. He took the closetmaid shelving from Target and secured them together with two by two's. Total cost was right around $100. It turned out amazing! Bobby did this in two hours this morning! I am so thankful for a creative husband. After he created the bed I was able to organize her room! So excited! I love FALL cleaning while watching football!

Storytime.
Today we went to Barnes & Noble for storytime. The story was about a pigeon who didn't want to go to bed. It is so rewarding to watch her sit very still and listen to the story. Boone, on the other hand, wanted to make plenty of cooing noises while the story was being read. I believe we might just find time to do this every Friday!

Typical.
This is a typical weekday morning in the Medlin house these days. I wouldn't trade this for a million dollars. I absolutely love being able to work from home and be a mommy all day!

Baby Dolls.
Bailey has really started to show an interest in baby dolls now that she knows she is going to be a big sister. It is so sweet to listen to her play with the dolls at Mimi's. Below are some pictures of her in the storage room. She has pulled out ALL of the baby dolls and accessories and created her own little world.

Lack of Motivation.
I feel like I have forgotten how to use my blog. My lack of motivation for anything these days is pretty bad. I am hoping all of this passes in the next week! I will be thru my first trimester with Baby "B". My goal is to get back into blogging about my wonderful family and what is going on in our lives. If my brain isn't too fried I hope to have updated pictures and layouts on my blog! YAY!!! I am back! :)

Marbles.
Yesterday we went to the Marbles Kids Museum with Natalie and her kids. Best activity in Raleigh for kids. SO MUCH FUN! Can't wait to take my big kid (Bobby). We will definitely be purchasing a family pass for this place.
More pictures to come! There was ALOT to do!

Candy.
This past week was Bailey's first time trying candy. Never to fear, Mimi is here with ORGANIC candy! Since I will not have anything to do with the real stuff my Mom went to EarthFare and bought several different organic candies for Bailey to enjoy (I am not a fan of chemicals in food for my child). We didn't want to deprive her totally. She loved the chocolate (just like her Mommy) but wasn't too enthused with anything NOT CHOCOLATE. Ha! I know where she gets if from! Of course chocolate makes the biggest mess so we gave it to her in the tub after she ate a chocolate egg and drooled it all over her white shirt (Daddy got it out).
